Description

Members and nonmembers of the MODC are welcome to speak with their local assemblymen. This month, attendees can meet Assemblymen Gregory E. Myhre & Brian E. Rumpf (Dist. 9). 

Myhre serves on the Appropriations, Children, Families and Food Security and Financial Institutions and Insurance Committees in the New Jersey Legislature. He has sat on the NJ General Assembly since 2024, previously served as the Stafford Township Mayor from 2019 to 2024, the Stafford Township Planning Board Class | Member from 2019 to 2024, the Ocean County Natural Lands Trust Fund and Ocean County Republican Committee Member, District 6. He also has a B.S. University of Maryland, a Graduate Certificate Pennsylvania State University, is a Regulatory Compliance Officer with TRMUA and the Owner of Independent Technologies LLC. 

Rumpf serves on the Budget, Health, Military and Veterans and Joint Budget Oversight Committees in the New Jersey Legislature. He has sat on the General Assembly since 2023 and Minority Budget Officer since this year. He previously served as Minority Parliamentarian in 2024 and 2025 and the Policy Co-Chair from 2014 to 2023. He also has a B.A. from The Catholic University of America, a J.D Washington and Lee University School of Law and is an Attorney with Rumph, Rumpf and Reid.
