Members and nonmembers of the MODC are welcome to speak with their local Ocean County Sheriff.
Ocean County Sheriff Michael G. Mastronardy has over 45 years of law enforcement experience, having served 22 years as Chief of the Toms River Police Department and then elected Sheriff of Ocean County in 2013.
Sheriff Mastronardy’s agency includes staffing and managing multiple divisions and units of Operations, Judicial Services, Investigations and Administration across all 33 Ocean County municipalities. Sheriff Mastronardy is also responsible for countywide Identification Program, the Child Safety Passenger Program and K-9 support to include bloodhounds, explosive detection, narcotic detection and arson canines.
He has served as adjunct professor at Rutgers University, Monmouth University, and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a former president and current treasurer of the Sheriff’s Association of New Jersey; Section Chief and Secretary of the Constitutional Officers Association of New Jersey; and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Public Safety Cadets and National Sheriff’s Association.
Attendees are asked to park in the back of the building and use the back entrance to first sign in with the front desk before coming to the meeting - just look for the MODC signs.
